Bazaar is one of the jewels among the Sid Sackson games and is especially popular with women. Precious stone combinations, for example a white, two green, two red gemstones, are recorded on four openly exposed commodity cards. If one is on the row, one can either cube and thus obtains a stone in the color which indicates the cube or one already swaps own stones according to a exchange table for other stones. You exchange until one has one of the four combinations of goods. In this case, one usually has not only exactly the five stones of the menu, but also some other 'unusual' stones on his carpet. The more stones you have left beside the five needed, the less points one of the goods buys. If you only have the required five stones, you can be rewarded with quite many points.
In total, 16 commodity cards are available, i.e. four in each stack. If a stack is already completely sold, the goods are automatically more valuable on the three remaining stacks. A product card also receives an increase in value when four or five identically colored stones are imaged on the product card. If, for example, one buys a colourful mixture, two stones have left and all four stacks are still filled with merchandise cards, two points are obtained. If, on the other hand, one buys a merchandise consisting, for example, of four red and a blue stone, has no stone left and at least one stack has already been cleared, one that brings the maximum of twelve points! It is therefore sometimes worth making a change-over to have no stones left. However, you must not lose sight of the other players' progress in exchange. Often a co-player buys a laboriously exchanged merchandise card right in front of the nose...
If all merchandise cards are sold, the game ends; who has most points on his account wins.
