To help your world too much glory and honor, you should choose the people and achievements skillfully. However, you should not disregard agriculture, culture and military power, otherwise it can happen that one of your competitors will become bigger and more successful. Who first manages to create a new flowering high culture?
This is just a brief summary of the rules and a guide to operation.
The complete rule of Hadara (PDF) is found here at Hans in Glück.The game runs over 3 epochs and two phases, each phase being divided into individual steps. Before the game starts in the first epoch, the starting cards are distributed and each player can choose the front or back of it to determine other starting parameters.
Each epoch is divided into two phases that run similarly.
At the beginning of each epoch, the current player adjusts the wheel and thus determines the order of the first card selection. If the selection by turning is confirmed by "OK".
Now the players will have 2 cards to choose from, the color of which corresponds to the setting on the wheel. You can buy a card by pulling it to the lower edge, you can sell it by pulling it up to the edge.
When each player has chosen a card, the second is placed on the board. Now the wheel is automatically turned on and you get two cards to choose from again.
If all 5 colors are chosen, this round ends.
Now each player gets coins according to its value on the yellow income bar.
If you can meet the conditions for a colony that has a higher value on its red military bar than the colony, you can plunder or colonize it.
The selection takes place again by pulling the green deposited colony either to the upper edge to get them to plunder and coins, or down to colonize the colony for coins and get the covered bonus.
Now busts are carved. The busts give you a bonus on one of the four bars, or you can get an additional bonus on its win points. However, you have to meet the condition for the bust on the blue cultural bar.
To chisel a bust You assign a bonus plate by pulling the bust up (for points) or down (as a bonus) into one of the four different color ranges.
The open cards that were deposited in phase A are now taken from the board. Each player can either purchase one of the 5 above cards or discard them for coins. This goes until there are no more cards on the board.
In the same way as in phase A, these actions are also dealt with in sequence in phase B. A good overview of the course of the 3 epochs can be found in the phase overview (4)
Here it is now checked whether the value on your green food bar is sufficient for the number of cards you previously bought. If this is not the case, you need to make so many cards until your value is equal to your number of cards.
You can choose the maps in your template and drag them to the top to discard them.
Seal you buy to score points. There are golden seals that will win 7 points for each set of 5 different-coloured cards in your edition.
And there are silver seals that you can assign a color using your bonus chips. You then receive half of the points on the corresponding bar at the end of the game. (rounded)
The game ends after 3 epochs. Then the different points are determined to add the total result. Of course, the player wins with most points. With a balance, the player wins with most coins.
Have fun with "HADARA"
