King and Scout - a giveaway from SPIEL 2003 - contains seven new cards for the normal Carcassonne version. The five cards for “hunters and gatherers” (scouts) are not implemented here. This "mini-expansion" can be used with Carcassonne, the first expansion and the Merchant and Builder expansion.
Five new landscape cards: the middle one shows two separate parts of the city. However, these can certainly be connected to each other during the game.
As soon as a player completes the first city, he receives the king figure. If another player completes a larger city later in the game, the king moves on to that player.
At the end of the game, the player in possession of the king receives one for each completed city on the board Period.
The robber baron is analogous to the king for the roads: the first player to complete a road gets the robber baron. If another player closes a longer road during the course of the game, the robber baron passes to him.
Whoever is in possession of the robber baron at the end of the game receives one point for each completed road on the playing field. < /p>
Which player is currently in possession of the king (left) or the robber baron (right) is marked by the colored border. Likewise, the length/size of the longest/largest street/city is displayed in player color.
